When I first saw the Devil's Carnival, I was reminded of
and one of my favorite Fast Forward Eps, DNA is Thicker than Water. Many familiar with the episode will remember the scene where Leonardo tells his Dark Clone the tale of the Scorpion and The Frog. Devil's Carnival does a different take on the story. Rather than it being a cautionary tale of about a person's nature, Their take is more of a cautionary tale of trusting the wrong people and the consequences of doing so. *nichan has also referenced before that Nini has had relationship problems in her past(prior to becoming a turtle) and I thought of casting Nini for this as well as the fact of Nini's liking of the story. Seriously though - you know what I like about this? It's kind of eerie in a way. Because the sad part is - I think NiNi can sometimes be a bit too trusting which in turn makes her quite gullible. ^_^;
Never saw the Devil's Carnival version up until now... -shudders- Creepy...
